Does anyone here collect football cards?

My ex bf and I had decided to start as a hobby we could do together. I just have this past season ...Topps series...bought about 3 boxes I guess....

I don't think I will continue this next year but don't want to just throw these out...probably spent close to $200 on them. Nothing valuable in here I don't think. ? A few autographs but no one noteworthy...

I don't think most football cards appreciate very much.? Anyone have any ideas on what to do with them? I was just going to give them away...but then thought maybe I could be better off putting them on craig's list or something. Could I maybe get %25 of my investment back? Anything less wouldn't really be worth my time.Any input would be appreciated.

Just this past season. Like I said, I bought about 3 boxes but may have split those with the ex.. I don't remember.. probably have 1000 cards or so.....I have a lot of duplicate ones...not really sure what I am looking for in terms of what would be "hard to find."
